The immigration bill failed in the Senate last night, a welcome event for many Americans, myself included (see here for an example of coverage). The hand-wringing now is all about
the political failure (see here). Could it be that some members of the Senate actually listened to their constituents, many of whom are not convinced that an amnesty program,
coupled with unworkable enforcement mechanisms, is the right policy for this country? That is, maybe, just maybe, a few of our representatives actually did what they were supposed
to do; listen to us.
et us hope that, one day, an American general will be able to write same in our latest crusade, this one to end the threat of Islamist tyranny.

It Was 63 Years Ago Today….I am such a planner in my personal life and this is the one thing I cannot plan or predict or really do anything about so it’s been driving me nuts.
I think I’ll be ovulation this Sunday or Monday so now is a good time to start TTC heavily, but I’ve been so tired recently and I almost feel like we’ve tried so many months and nothing
happened that I don’t know what I’ll do this month. I guess I’ll try not to push it and be a crazy wacko woman but it will be hard. Wish me luck!

Now, perhaps, we can get an immigration bill that addresses security only. Once that has been accomplished - which is quite feasible - we can then look into what to do with the
foreign nationals who are here illegally. This will most likely not be the mass deportations some want; but it also should not be the mass amnesty that many of our leaders advocate.
Once we have some control over the flow of foreign nationals entering and exiting our country illegally, we can then look at the available options towards addressing what would be a
stabler population.
